Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Review!

Last month in Florida I picked up several of these new matte balms from Revlon. I was so excited to find them since they were barely showing up at drugstores at the time. So here you go, finally a thorough review! In the video i'm wearing the color "sultry".

 At first application at 11:30AM

2.5 Hours later. Lipstick is fully in tact!

At the end of the day 8 total hours later! Lipstick rubbed off in the outer corners, but considering no touch ups, not bad!

I was curious to see how it would love after re-applying with dry lips. To my surprise the lipstick went on as smooth as it did in the morning! It didn't accentuate my dry lips :)

Overall I give this product a 10 out of 10 stars! I wish there were more color selections though. As far as I know there were just about 9 shades. But who knows, if they sell enough product they may put it in the permanent line and add more colors!

How to Contour your face in SECONDS!

There are many different methods to contouring, but I find this way to be the easiest and fastest! All I used are two items: a bronzing powder and a contour blush.

The powder I'm using in this video is MAC's "matte bronze" bronzer.

The brush I used is a BH cosmetics angled blush brush.

 Step 1:
Locate your cheek bones and concentrate most of the color on your upper cheek bones, then sweep downwards.

Step 2:
Now work on your temples, and connect to your cheek bones (creating a "C" shape). To create the illusion of a smaller forehead, I shade up there as well :)

And THAT'S IT! It's so easy to do and creates the illusion of beautiful high cheek bones!

A Fall Stroll in the Park!

Earlier today we took a stroll to the park despite the chilly weather outside! It was nearly 35 degrees FREEZING! Regardless, it was so beautiful here in the Pacific Northwest. The clear blue skies and colorful leaves made it all worth it. Benji pulled out the DSLR and took a few photos. We attempted a few family shots using automatic smile detection but that didn't turn out so well. I still had to add a few of those photos cause JB was adorbs!

Julianna's outfit is a mix of affordable finds and gifts! Her hat is from "gifts from the world" from before JB was even born! Her coat is from ROSS. I believe it was only $12.00. Pants are from Target and shoes are from her God Parents Amy and Julian! Anyhoo, enjoy :)
