Julianna's 1st birthday party!

WHOAAAA NELLY!!!!!! Yeah it's been yet another year. Apologies for my lack of blogging. I just had to post up some photos I received the other week from Julianna's 1st birthday party last month. I still can't believe a whole year has passed and our baby bear is now a "toddler". Her personality just bloomed so much these past few months. Never a day passes that she ceases to make me smile, laugh, and gigil (filipino term for the feeling of over excitement). Right this moment she's carrying around a sofa pillow, throwing it on the ground, then throwing herself on top of it! LOL. What a hoot. Anyway, enjoy the photos from my friend Joey Takes Photos!

 I love how Julianna's main table looks. Originally, we were going to put her large sheet cake here, but the baker misunderstood our order and ended up giving us a blank cake! Boy was that a surprise! We just displayed Julianna's smash cake (hence all the space).

Isn't it cute! It's from Midori Bakery in Bellevue.

The cupcakes were a hit! Thanks to my cuz Sweet Treats by Dhee !

Amy's Bridal Hair & Makeup

Hair

We went for a side bun/curl updo. Amy has beautiful blonde streaks which especially compliments this hairdo. Julian, her hubby described her look as a bombshell "Goddess"! Perfect description!

What I used:
- Tresemme heat protectant spray
- 1 inch enzo milano clipless iron
- setting pins
- L'Oreal Paris Elnett unscented hairspray
- Kenra Platinum hairspray
-bobby pins
- Kenra 20 clear paste

With a one inch curling iron, curl and set with clips. Hairspray all over with a flexible hold hairspray. Allow the curls to cool before removing clips. 

 Once hair is cooled, remove hair clips. Working with the direction of the curl, pin down about 2 inch sections around her hairline. 

Sweet the hair to one side and pin curl section by section. 

Finish off the look with flower accessories behind the ear. 

Makeup

Smokey purple eye shadow and nude lipstick fit perfectly with Amy's green/hazel eyes!

- SHU UEMURA black gel liner

Face
- Estee Lauder daywear+ moisturizer
-Young Blood concealer in medium
- MAC NC35 studio fix powder foundation
- Physicians Formula bronze booster in medium/dark
- MAC warm soul blush
-Model in a Bottle setting spray

Lips
- Covergirl Longlast lipstick in 598

Whats in My Hospital Bag?!

Here is a complete list my doctor gave me! There were a few things I didn't care to pack, but I thought i'd share anyway in case you'd like to pack some of these items :) Doctor said my hospital will provide necessary items not listed!

Hospital Bag items:

- Health insurance card, photo ID, hospital registration form

- Lotion or oil for massage

- Lip balm

- Nightgown or nightshirt

-Bathrobe, slippers, socks

-Glasses, if you wear them

- Hard candy to keep mouth moist

- MP3 or CD player

- Camera

- Books, laptop to keep entertained

- 2 or 3 nursing bras and a dozen nursing pads

- sanitary pads

- few pairs of socks and underwear

- toiletries: toothpaste, toothbrush, deoderant

- Contact lens case and solution

- change for vending machine

- Receiving blanket and clothes for newborn to wear home

- Loose fitting clothes for you to wear home

-Infant car seat
