"REBEL" Hair & Makeup + 150 Winners!!!

L'Oreal Paris and W Magazine teamed up to create the "Because I Am Worth It" competition. Myself and two beautiful beauty bloggers, Kandee Johnson & Pursebuzz re-create looks inspired by W Magazine using L'Oreal Paris cosmetics! My task was to create an easy Rebel look. Hope you like it!

 1. Pack on brown eyeshadow from lid to crease.

 2. Blend upwards, then smudge the same color to lower lash line.

 3. Apply black eye liner

 4. Apply your favorite red lipstick!

 5. Of course, don't forget mascara like I almost did!

 6. Crimp your hair with a large barrel crimper. I found mine at Wal-Mart for under $30!

 7. Tease your hair all over

 8. Set with L'Oreal's Elnett hairspray!

I used the following L'Oreal Paris products:
- 24 Hour Infallible eyeshadow in "bottomless java"
- Lacquer Liner 24 hr Infallible in "blackest black"
- Voluminous smoldering eyeliner
- Infallible le rouge in "refined ruby"
- Voluminous false fiber lashes in "black lacquer"
- Elnett Hairspray "unscented"

Selena Gomez Alter Ego Hair and Makeup Tutorial

From the first time I saw this video I was mesmerized by Selena's fun personality and sense of humor! Here I re-created her alter ego look after a quick run to the thrift store for a flannel button up and bandana (only costing me $5 total).

What I used need
Makeup
- Urban Decay primer potion
- MAC cork and soft brown eye shadow
- 3 pairs of Model 21 false lashes
- Wet n Wild brow palette
- Maybelline stiletto eye liner
- Maybelline falsies mascara
- MAC auburn lip liner
- NYX alabama matte lipstick
- NYX brown liner
- MAC wonder woman lipgloss
- Makeup Forever HD liquid foundation 138??
- MAC shadester contour powder
- Neutrogena natural glow blush

Hair:
- Hot rollers (you can use a curling iron)
- Bobbi pins
- Hair Tie
- Bandana

The hair was simple. I heated my hair with hot rollers. Don't know how? Here is a simple hair tutorial. After applying rollers, allow them to cool down for at least 15 minutes. Remove the rollers and start rolling about 4 sections of hair in the front, setting it in place with bobbi pins. Bring the rest of your hair up to a high ponytail. Wrap your ponytail into a loose bun (to allow volume) and pin in place.

Once your hair and makeup is done, just accessorize with a button up flannel, hoop earrings, a bandana, and loose jeans!

Natural Makeup for the Work Place

At the office, you want to look awake and fresh, without overdoing it with too much makeup! Here i'll show you a natural looking makeup tutorial using cosmetics you can find at your local drugstore.

For this tutorial, I used a few high end cosmetics, but
mainly drugstore.

- Urban Decay primer potion (prevents eyeshadow from creasing)
- L'oreal quad in Landscape
- L'oreal Voluminous black mascara
- L'oreal true match blush in precious peach
-Maybelline dream smooth mousse foundation in pure beige
- Wet N Wild megalast lipcolor in 902C
- Clinique superbalm in Lilac
- Eve Pearl salmon concealer
You don't have to dish out a lot of money for good makeup! Also keep your eye on out drugstore sales. I read our rite aid weekly to make sure I'm getting the best deal. Just the other day I bought a bunch of L'oreal makeup buy one get one half off. I took advantage of that one!

Try this natural makeup look for yourself at work tomorrow. Remember to add some color every now and then. Maybe try some plum, or red lips on Fridays!
