Bio Ionic One Pass "The Fastest Straightening Iron Ever"!

"The fastest straightening iron ever!" I read that quote the first time i heard about the One Pass. With a quote like that, it better stand up to its name! So I tried it out for myself and sure enough it did!! I wish I knew about this flat iron when I was younger. My hair was major frizzy and out of control! I ended up putting my hair in a bun cause I didn't even wanna deal with it. Today, my hair is much easier to manage, Thank Goodness!!!! However, whenever i want that sleek straight hair look, I turn to my One Pass.

If you follow my videos on youtube, you know that I am in Love with my Babyliss Nano Titanium flat iron! The babyliss is great because its versatile. I can straighten my hair and even curl with that flat iron. The only downside to that flat iron was that the surface of the iron gets really hot! The one pass just gets warm, but doesn't burn my fingers.

Here are a few before and after video stills:

Of course I gotta hook you guys up with a promotional deal! Get the Bio Ionic One Pass, and get a Bio Ionic Blow dryer for free!! Its a $99.95 value. Coupon Code: BIOJUDY

Product Pros:
-Heats up in 5 seconds (crazy ain't it ?!)
-Releases negative ions
-Nano-Ceramic plates
-One pass and your hair is straight!
-Heat dial that goes up to 400 degrees Celsius
-Surface doesn't get hot
-4 year limited warranty included

Cons:
-Straightens only, doesn't curl

Get Glam Salon lookin nails for under $10! Revlon Runway Collection

Remember those days when you were a little girl and you wore fake glue on nails? Within an hour your mom was yelling at you cause she found those nails at random places around the house. The glue on nails never lasted a day. I'd open a can of soda and *POP*, one comes flying off!

All these memories came back to me when I was asked to review the Runway artificial nail collection by Revlon. I was skeptical at first, but I thought heck why not give it a try?!

My first reaction was: WHOA! These nails actually look natural. They each had French tips with cute designs on them. Yayerz! To my surprise, the nails weren’t hard and thick either. The nails are much more flexible and thinner than the ones I remember as a child.

Applying the nails takes some practice. My first attempt didn’t go so well. I ended up gluing my fingers together. The instructions say to apply the glue to your nail bed and also on the artificial nail. My first pair of nails lasted 6 days before a nail popped off. Luckily I had the glue in my purse so I quickly glued it back on! Within the next few days the nails started poppin off so I figured the nail life was at its end :( I soaked my fingers in acetone for a minute and the nails peeled off easily. Unfortunately the surface of my natural nail peeled off along with it :( Not cute at all!!!

(pls excuse my dry hands!)

Photos by Andy Hoang below. Don't the nails look so natural?!

Pros:

-Affordable ( ~$7.99 at drugstores)

-Easy to apply

-Fun designs

-Looks natural/ nail length easy to deal with

-Kit comes with nail file, glue, and a manicure stick

-There are 12 sizes to choose from so you're guaranteed to find your size!

Cons:
-Sometimes air bubbles appear
- application can get messy!

My thoughts: The Revlon Runway Collection nails are worth getting for special occasions. The price is right and the quality is great (for 7 days!)

Senna Cosmetics: The Envelope

I got the Senna Cosmetics Brights Envelope from the I.M.A.T.S. in Pasadena. The first thing that intrigued me of this palette was that it was different from the other pallets out there. Not only did it include eye shadows, there are also six blushes and two face powders! YOWZAAA!!!

So I walked up to their booth and the Senna Cosmetics representative was sweet and welcoming. I was astonished by the price she told me... $50! What a steal! The lady said the Envelope is a $405 value, and the price at the store is $100. So I just had to get this!! The bronzer on the brights envelope sold me! Check it out!
The two lighter colors can be used as highlighters as well.

There are a few features about the palette that I adore. First off, there is a mirror that is just about the size for the palette, humongo! And guess what, the palette has magnetized refillable slots! I can even put my MAC eyeshadows in here if I wanted. The palette also comes with a connected plastic sheet to prevent your shadows and blushes from dusting all over the place.

After using the envelope this past month I realized that I WANT MORE! The color payoff is simply amazing. I can honestly say that these are my favorite eye shadows next to MAC. There is however a downside. The eye shadows can get powdery. I pat my brush into it and the next thing I know, i've created a mess! Not too powdery, but you can probably tell from this picture.
The size of the palette is larger than the typical. Here is a comparison to the MAC palettes.
I tried my best with the swatch shot! I never realized how hard it is with these many swatches! I had to angle my arm in a weird position for this. Lol. I used MAC's "ground works" paint pot as a base.

Anyhoooo, thats all I got to say about that! I adore my new palette, or...Envelope! I have my eye on the "Neutral" Envelope. I'm sure i'll be using a lot more of those colors on an everyday basis :D

OHH and how can I forget... The price for this palette is $50 on the website!!!!!!!!! I thought I got that deal just because I was at the Makeup show!!!!! but I just checked the website and its half off. I don't know if this is just a promotional deal or what. All i know is that you can get it for $50 yourself! Enjoy!!!
